Fuel scarcity has again hit the Cross River State capital, Calabar.
Our reporters observed yesterday afternoon that the usual pick and drop which costs N50 has been hiked to N100 while routes that costs N100 were hiked to N200.
It was also observed that only few fueling stations were selling fuel.

Failure of the marketers to sell the product to motorists has also increased the activities of black marketers who now sell a liter for N450 against the usual N200 the petrol stations sell.
In the last two weeks, within the Calabar metropolis,  our reporters have also observed that petrol stations close as early as between 7pm and 8pm.
Phace mash gathered that the cause of the scarcity is a feud between the State Government and the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, IPMAN over alleged illegal taxes by the state government.
Beign charged N100 This morning to board a trycylce to school is annoying, government please do something!
