10.NO MAKE UP FACE:-this became a trend during 1st semester examination period as most of the female students were writing exams without makeup,these also became a trend during the second semester exams,but was not so popular as the first...so many pretty girls became ugly horrible,even my girlfriens *wink*


9.RAG JEANS:-started trending shortly after the rsumption of first semester til when it was tempoariliy banned,during the period of serious insecuriy and cult wars.

8.GT BANK RAP BATTLE:-although its trend didnt last long it was the talk of the week it went down,i met a preety girl on that day lucky me *yay*




7.FASSA NIGHT:-this event held during the first semester,became a trend as a result of the violence that went down,which left so many unsuspecting people injured,thankfully no deaths was recorded.


6.FINAL YEAR LAST PAPER:-no one will doubt that final year exams deserve to be on this list,as so many controversies were involved in it,from deaths,to restrictions,and even crazy celebrations,the spot is well earned.

5.FACE OF MATRIC:-this was a very popular trend during the first semester as so many student applied to compete,the activity and the rumours that the winners didn't deserve it.



4.MATRIC DAY:-it was one of the overhyped event in 2016.as students even bought special clothes for the event.but as for me on matrice day i was broke as shit,i even treked to school.

3.SORTING:-one word student dred and lectures avoid,without doubt this was the most controversial word in crutech 2016.



2.STUDENT WEEK:-from rag day,to crutech canival,to mr & mrs crutech pageant,tjhis was the biggest cool trend in crutech 2016.click for more photos from student week



1.INSECURITY:-ranging from calabar south cult wars,in which the state had to intervaine to countless gunshor rampage at crutech calabar campus main gate to gun point robbery,to cult wars,and deaths of so many students,crutech was very insecure in 2016.
