Blessed be the name of God who has given us the grace to be in existence, and to come up with this CRUTECH-SUG press release in this administration.
Your amiable Government under the commanding Chief : Comr. Osang Francis Diwa welcomed you all back on campus and as well assures you of unimaginable and numerous success, favours, blessings struggling to locate us as a body here in the University.
While you were away on break, the government left no stone unturned in pursuance of her revitalization agenda and visions for CRUTECH and secondly ensuring that all hands are on deck in preparations of our activities for the semester especially the student's week set to come up soon.
Following the administration's first visit and meeting with the Vice Chancellor: Prof. Anthony Owan Enoh. The government assures you of a peaceful and transformative understanding between the SUG and the school management in all issues affecting the student and in those that may likely arise.
This regime since inception has witnessed unimaginable success and achievements. Some of which are:
1.The administration have been able to successfully attend and ably represent the
Intuition in The National Association Of Nigerian Student (NANS-ZONE), Conference
which on held on 22nd to 24th July at Abia State Polytechnic. Aba
2. Sponsorship and representation of female students at the National Female Students
Association (NFSA). In the course of the conference, Comr. Martha Ayim (vice President SUG, CRUTECH) was elected as the treasurer of the association.
3. This administration, sponsored female leaders of SUG, NACRISS and all Faculty Vice President to attend a workshop on” Women Hospitality in Nigeria”. Held at Tinapa, Calabar. Cross River State. This was co-ordinated by Mrs Justina Ovat (SSA to the Cross River State Governor on Tourism)
4. Sponsorship of candidates in a debate competition with the students union
government:
University of Calabar. A debate titled “"The fall in educational standard; Government
at fault". This was organized by “Development Option”. A Non-
Governmental Organization.
5. The administration has also facilitated the mobilization of its students to participate
Massively in the 7th Career Day edition of “THE BRIDGE LEADERSHIP
FOUNDATION”organized by His Excellency Sen. Liyel Imoke
6. The administration has received an 18 Seaters Hiace Bus donated by Cross River State
Government by his Excellency Sen. (Prof.) Benedict Ayade (The Executive Governor
of Cross
River State.).
With the ever dogged spirit of revitalization in mind, this administration is working earnestly to further ameliorate the sacrosanct issue of intra transportation within the
University.
Our appreciation goes first of all to God almighty for His Grace and Benevolence thus far and secondly to you all: our esteem members of this great union. Without your prayers and support, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve all these. The progress and success of this union is tied to our unanimous efforts especially as we endeavor to meet up with payments of our school fees early enough to guarantee us a full membership of the union.
Accordingly, we wish to inform you of “The Union’s Congresses” scheduled to hold across the campuses as follow.

Students in these campuses are by this notice advised to make all efforts to be present in the congresses as relevant issues affecting the students will be discussed.
